    Weight loss can be very personal; it can become a lonely and overwhelming process. So it’s nice to have a group that can relate, share and celebrate with you every step of the way. Gave me the confidence to slowly get back into the groove. Mentally I’m more accepting of giving myself grace to love my body as is and overall being happy with the process.. Hola hola, I’m Karen Martinez!

A fitness coach, personal trainer, and mom of two daughters. After moving from my small hometown to a big city as a single mom, and working two jobs, I turned to fitness as a way to rebuild my confidence, regain control of my life and find a community of likeminded individuals. In 2014, I competed in and won first place in the Bikini Novice Division at the INBA Bodybuilding, but after the competition, I struggled with binge eating, body dysmorphia, and over-exercising. Post competition these challenges fueled my passion to educate myself in order to help other women achieve their fitness goals without extreme restrictions. In Jan 2024, I decided to bring my love for dance and Latin culture into the fitness world and what a better way than become a licensed Zumba instructor. I’m here to show you that you can achieve the body and healthy lifestyle you want all while having fun, balancing motherhood and pursuing personal goals.
